Bad weather on main-land (© AD6TF)

But finally we got our bad weather too :-(
On Saturday afternoon a tremendous thunderstorm came up and we had to close our operations for several hours.

After the heavy rains the mainland-area of this part of Venezuela was declared in state of emergency. We suffered no damage except some wet clothes and a lot of lost QSO's.

Suddenly a strong wind began do blow and we got the thunderstorm.

On Sunday morning, July 18 we prepared to leave the island.

Our 2 boats almost ready for departure.

Small islands on the left and on the right of us were a delight for our eyes (and cameras).
